We love what we do, and that transpires through the entire process when working with us. We enjoy a challenge and find as much satisfaction in a completed project as the customer. We grew up loving machines, equipment, dirt, and concrete trucks, so although it is a job, we are excited to do it most every day. We strive to have a job site that you can feel comfortable around – you’re welcome to watch at a distance (kids with supervision) and see us make progress on your project. That is something you may not find everywhere that sets us apart as we will treat you and your family with respectful boundaries but enjoy making your day by having a conversation or something as small as letting your child/grandchild/dog dig in a pile of leftover dirt, stone, or concrete when appropriate.

About Us
Phil Miller Construction (PMC) was founded in 1979 by none other than Phil Miller of Burton, Ohio. Phil was born and raised in Geauga County with his parents and six siblings. He raised his own family in Burton and now resides with his wife of over 40 years, Cathleen. They prioritize family time with their 13 grandchildren and five children and have built a beautiful Christian family. Phil has always been an active church member and carries his Christian values into how he does business.
Phil began his company working out of his house and built the company to what it is today, employing over 10 committed and trustworthy employees. He plans to pass PMC over to his middle son, Aaron, over the coming years to continue working within Phil’s values while bringing more updated technology and procedures to the company to provide better service to his customers. Aaron has worked with/for Phil his entire life, so he has a vast understanding of what Phil has so successfully built and the value of a personal touch and positive relationship with those they work with and serve.
